The AEW water resources team provides operational support to Elk Gold to protect the environment. The dedicated field team completes routine and systematic surface and groundwater monitoring, discharge management, wetland monitoring, and seep and drainage surveys. Our team is experienced in acid-rock drainage/metals leaching assessment and has provided valuable consulting services with respect to waste rock management.
In addition, we conduct Heritage Field Reconnaissance at the Elk Gold mine to identify Areas of Interest where additional archaeological investigations are required prior to mine exploration activities.
